First Things First …July Debuts of the Month

We love introducing you and your kids to great new writing from great first-time authors, so you can read, the classics of tomorrow today. Look out for:

One final reminder for budding writers…

If you have a child or young person aged between 5 and 25 then do remind them they have until the end of July to get their entry into The ‘Wicked’ Young Writers Award, an award which recognises excellence in writing, encourages creativity and helps develop writing talent. A shortlist of 100 finalists will be announced in the Autumn of 2012, followed by a special showcase of the winners’ entries at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, home of the award-winning musical. Why not get some inspiration direct from the horse’s mouth in the form of Michael Morpurgo together with details of how to enter.
